Essence of Hope

Essence of Hope was an initiative that was prompted by the death of a close friend in 2011, who lost the battle against leukaemia. The Leukaemia Foundation is the only national not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the care and cure of patients and families living with the leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders. Essence of Hope was established to encourage a range of initiatives to partake in generating more awareness and making a difference to this cause. The primary aim of this initiative is to raise much needed funds to support the work and empowerment that the Leukaemia Foundation provides to patients and carers through an event held annually.
